Bike lanes on neighborhood streets

Similar to those in Chicago, we could paint a line to create a bike lane along curbs on neighborhood roads. Cars could not park in these lanes but they could park along side them. This would get people on bikes off sidewalks and lessen the issues we currently have with walkers on the sidewalks.
