There are lots of great creative ideas. But a good, practical place to start is just making it possible to walk places without having to walk in the street. How about committing to sidewalks everywhere in the city?

I would like to see some sort of mandate that businesses and home owners have to maintain a sidewalk around the property. Might be a good idea offer grants for those individuals who cannot afford it, to initially come into accord but long term it should be simply a part of the cost of owning a property.
