I really like the VisitOmaha.com website. It gives a lot of resources, transportation modes, and places to visit in the Omaha area. I believe the City of Omaha government website (http://www.ci.omaha.ne.us/) should look more energetic, more inviting, and include more information for visitors, like VisitOmaha.com.
