Omaha parks have phenomenal flower gardens - this sets us apart from many cities of comparable size. I think both adults and children might enjoy the opportuntity to volunteer in some capacity with Omaha parks' flower operations or at the Hanscom Park greenhouse. This could be a great way to increase involvement, get some work done and perhaps allow volunteers to learn something valuable in the process. |
